PERSONALITY: Neku is a tomboy.....that's all there is to her personality. She was raised only by her father and with 4 older brothers, so she was raised to fight for what she wanted(since she had to with her brothers). She's blunt and staright forward, and she'll tell you what she thinks. But she still has some feminine traits. She likes to cook, swim, play music, and dance with stray pokemon or for the pokemon at the Cerulean City gym when the leader let her. She's been known to be a spazz about almost everything and she likes to randomly poke people.
APPEARANCE: She has long blonde hair that she normally keeps in a high ponytail. Her bright blue eyes can stick out like a sore thumb among her hazel eyes brothers and father. She's a pretty girl, but you can hardly tell because she's frowning most of the time. Her ears are pierced in multiple places. She wears too big cargo pants(hand me downs from her brothers) and a tight fitting black tank top. She wears black tennis shoes and carries a black messenger bag wherever she goes. She can be seen sporting black atomic goggles too.
HISTORY: Neku was born into a family of 7, plus her. Her mother was a pokemon trainer and her father was a pokemon breeder. While her mother was still pregnant with her, they had already decided to name the baby Neku, since they thought that it was a boy, but she turned out to be a girl and they stuck with the name. Her older brothers had dreams of being Pokemon Masters, but when she was born, they put their dreams on hold and stayed home to help their parents with her. It wasn't long after Neku's 2nd birthday, the her father had figured out that her mother had drowned....trying to catch a Tentacrool for him to breed.
Her father raised her alone with her brothers and he never re-married. Therefore, Neku had almost NO female influence in her life. But she didn't care. She knew her father and brother's loved her just the same. Her father had told her how her mother had dies when she was 8. Surpisingly, she thought that the tentacrool pokemon were cool. Her brothers had told her that their mother was a strong person, so strong that hardly anything could bring her down. And she thought "If a Tentacrool is strong enough to beat Mommy, then it is an awesome pokemon".
Her eldest brother had caught 3 Poochyena when he went on his many travels to make money to bring home. He gave her one and she named it Pooh and took care of it. She started late on her pokemon journey because her father had grown ill and since she was was the only one with knowledge of human medicine, she had to take care of him. And she had hardly trained with her Poochyena, so it didn't get to evolve and level up.
